Lincoln Life Lessons
 Lincoln Life Lessons is coming to High Prairie in honor of the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial celebration!
Read the competition invitation and enter the art and writing contests designed for all middle school, high school and college students in North Dakota! Scholarships and prizes will be awarded. Entry deadline is December 12, 2008.
A special public program will be presented at High Prairie in Februray on the eve of Lincoln's birthday. Classroom field trips to High Prairie during the school day involving lots of hands-on art and science activities in Februrary are also open for registration now until December 22, 2008.

Super Saturday!
 Super Saturday for kids is January 24, 2009, 9:00-3:00 p.m! Here at Frances Leach High Prairie Arts & Science Complex, we combine the best of arts and science for a full day camp that is truly super!
Each of our anchor organizations-Shade Tree Players, Gateway to Science, Theo Art School, Central Dakota Children's Choir, and Suzuki School of Music-are offering a full day of art and science activities. Participants will be able to rank their activities based on preference, and will participate in five activities total.
Details are coming. Come Play with us and have a SUPER time!

Haunting Arts & Spooktacular Science
 Haunting Arts and Spooktacular Science 2008 was held Saturday, October 25th from 12:30-4:30 p.m.
The event featured Halloween-themed activities and performances for the entire family. High Prairie Awarded
 The Frances Leach High Prairie Arts & Science Complex recently received the Arts & Humanities Award from the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Midwest Regional Council at their annual gathering in Cody, Wyoming.
This regional award is given to honor commitment to and the promotion of arts and humanities. It follows the "Golden Egg Award" that was awarded to the Bismarck Parks & Recreation District by the North Dakota Recreation and Park Association. As stated in the receipt of that award, "Bismarck Parks & Recreation District demonstrated innovative partnerships and programming within their community."

 The Frances Leach High Prairie Arts & Science Complex is located at 1810 Schafer Street, Bismarck, North Dakota. Just off I-94, Exit 157, north of Bismarck State College. Here's a larger map for your reference.
Please Note: High Prairie is NOT located in the Jack Science Center building on the campus of Bismarck State College, but is north of the campus.
